Topics: Crafts and Needlework

  • Please Pre-Register by April 25th (online form below, on this page)
  • There are 35 spots available
  • The judging school will be cancelled if there are not enough participants pre-registered
  • Please reach out to other judges to carpool
  • Please bring your own lunch
  • No proof of vaccination required

We are asking each participant to please bring 2 to 3 items, so there is a broad selection for judging.

Please bring 2-3 items or more

Crafts: Handmade Greeting Card (any theme), Handmade Tote Bag or Purse, Handmade Stuffed Animal, Mason Jar –best decorated or functional homemade craft, Recycler’s Inspirational (something new from old), Needle Felting, Decorated Bookmark, Decorated Shoe, Decorated Cell Phone or IPod cover, Homemade Wedding Favour, Item made from glass, wood, ceramic, clay. Article of beadwork (jewelry, fabric decoration), Article of Cross Stitch, (counted or stamped, under 12” not including mat and frame), 1 page of Scrapbooking – theme “Spring”, Stained Glass (not exceed 15” in height), Sun Catcher, Decorated Garden Stake, Homemade Shopping Bag, Repurposed Denim Item, Handmade Case for Glasses, Baby Bib, (any medium).

Christmas: Handmade Christmas Card with matching Envelop, set of 2 Christmas place mats, Christmas Tree Ornament, Christmas Gift Bag, Handmade Christmas Wreath using –non – traditional materials ( i.e. Not greenery based –any shape), Christmas Gift Tag.

Needlework: Weaving, wool Applique, Tattling (Shuttle Needle), Latch Hooking,
Rug Hooking (traditional), Needlework on Canvas, Macrame, Lace Making, Lace Net Darning, Huck or Swedish Weaving, Ribbon Weaving, Machine Embroidery, Red/Linework/Traditional. Hardanger, Crewel, Stamped Cross – stitching, Chicken Scratch or Tenerife, Embroidery – Brazilian, Candlewicking Chicken or Tenerife Cushion, Cushion Top.
